Tony Njoku today releases his new EP, A WORLD OF BODIES ON FIRE, out now via PRAH Recordings.

Written in the aftermath of burnout and disappointment, the four-track project channels pent up emotion into a series of movement-driven instrumental pieces that explore tension, release and transformation. Across its twenty minutes, Njoku moves between moments of rage and reflection, euphoria and restraint, tracing the shifting boundaries between body, self and environment.

The EP’s title reflects multiple states of intensity. From the horror of burning bodies and collective catastrophe, to an overactive nervous system pushed into fight or flight, to the passions and desires that animate everyday life. As Njoku puts it, “we’re all on fire in some way.”
