A distinctive evening of musical crosscurrents unfolds at Ladbroke Hall, as pianist Harry Baker explores the rich dialogue between French classical music and jazz. Moving seamlessly from the luminous harmonies of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel to the improvisatory worlds of John Coltrane and Bill Evans, the programme weaves together reimagined masterworks, seminal jazz tunes and the American Songbook. Featuring guest artists including innovative violinist Roberts Balanas and acclaimed jazz trumpeter Tom Syson, the concert brings together artists from contrasting traditions to create a fluid, genre-defying sound world – where modal chant meets modern harmony, impressionist colour dissolves into swing, and composition merges with improvisation in real time.
ANONIMI Chamber Orchestra & Charity was founded in 2023 by Margarita Balanas, dedicated to supporting exceptional young musicians and creating meaningful concert opportunities. Bringing together outstanding artists from across the UK, ANONIMI is known for its vivid, high-energy performances that reimagine the classical concert experience. From 2026, Ladbroke Hall becomes ANONIMI’s creative home – a space for bold arrangements, composer-led explorations, and unforgettable evenings where beloved masterpieces meet fresh perspectives.
ANONIMI is grateful for the support of Fidelio Charitable Trust, the Coln Trust, The Harrison-Frank Family Foundation, and the Sunbeam Project Charity.
