Tickets £30 for two-course menu

Eat & Art is a new Saturday series by Carpenters Workshop Gallery and Pollini, combining contemporary design, conversation, and seasonal dining in a relaxed afternoon setting. The experience starts with a two-course lunch at Pollini, followed by a 45-minute guided tour of the building’s architecture and gallery spaces.

Small Car, Big Windows

brings together French artists and designers Martin Laforêt and Léa Mestres, whose new furniture and lighting works explore how travel between Paris and Brittany shapes perception through the contrast of urban and natural landscapes. Blending Laforêt’s architectural forms in concrete, steel and wood with Mestres’ vibrant mosaic lighting and organic sculptures, the exhibition reflects on movement, perspective and the balance between structure and spontaneity.

Mumbai-based designer and artist Ashiesh Shah presents Taamr, his first UK solo exhibition at Carpenters Workshop Gallery, featuring a new body of sculptural works exploring copper as both material and metaphor. Rooted in Indian craft traditions and contemporary design, the exhibition reflects on transformation, heritage and the evolving beauty of copper through time.

The Language of Glaze: Shimizu Uichi at 100 is a new exhibition marking the birth centenary of celebrated Japanese ceramicist Shimizu Uichi (1926-2004). Presented at Carpenters Workshop Gallery in collaboration with deBiousse&West, the exhibition features exceptional and previously unseen works by one of the most significant ceramic artists of the twentieth century. This exhibition presents a rare selection of Shimizu’s ceramics, showcasing his masterful use of form, glaze, and fire. Featuring works never before exhibited and preserved by the artist’s family, it offers new insight into the legacy of one of Japan’s most important ceramic artists.
