Buffy’s is an in-person and digital book community founded by Lizzy Hadfield in 2024. Offering a monthly physical book club hosted between London and New York in the city’s best bars and restaurants, as well as an online discussion hosted on Substack, Buffy’s has carved out a unique place in the book club world, fostering genuine relationships between lovers of literature.
This July, Buffy’s is hosting its biggest ever event, an independent publisher’s fair, at the stunning Ladbroke Hall in West London. The fair will bring together a selection of ten independent publishers curated by Lizzy, selling their new releases and back list, along with drinks and a live piano performance by a member of the Buffy’s community. The event is an opportunity to discover the wealth of independent publishers in the UK, and discover new connections with other book lovers.
