Inspired by the healing beauty of nature, Zizi founded SEN in 2022, drawing from her decades-long expertise in Gongbi floral painting, Ikebana flower arrangement, and Kitsuke kimono dressing.  

SEN serves as a sanctuary from the fast-paced rhythm of our modern lifestyle by making the traditional art of Ikebana accessible through workshops and events that highlight the aesthetics and principles of Eastern philosophy: harmony, simplicity, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.

Zizi is a fully trained artist and certified instructor in the art of Ikebana flower arrangement – a certification that requires 5 years of practice. To add an extra touch of cultural authenticity, Zizi is also certified in the Art of Kitsuke Kimono dressing and hosts each workshop in traditional Kimono. A certification that requires 3 years of training.
