Chef and social media sensation Thomas Straker joins Harry Becher, founder of BlueSkyFriday, for a conversation about food, creativity, and building something from scratch — both in and out of the kitchen.

Thomas began his career in Michelin-starred kitchens including The Dorchester and Dinner by Heston, before rising to fame through his viral cooking videos, known for making bold, flavour-packed recipes feel accessible to everyone. He’s since gone on to open two hugely popular restaurants in London — Straker’s in Notting Hill and Flat Bread in Borough Yards — both praised for their stripped-back, ingredient-led menus and effortlessly cool atmosphere.

With millions of followers online and a growing reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting chefs, Thomas is reshaping the way we think about food, flavour and fun in the kitchen. In this live talk, Harry Becher — a lifelong connector, creative strategist and founder of BHB Private and BlueSkyFriday — brings his signature curiosity to a discussion about food, simplicity, success and reinvention.

This is a talk for the curious and the hungry.
