Join The Frederick Ashton Foundation for a special event marking the 121st birthday of Frederick Ashton- principal architect of British ballet and Founder Choreographer of The Royal Ballet. The evening will comprise a discussion about Ashton’s importance and relevance led by luminaries of the ballet world, with a Q&A and drinks reception.
We are delighted to announce that Sarah Crompton (writer, dance critic of the Observer and podcaster) will interview Kevin O’Hare (Director, The Royal Ballet), Marianela Nuñez and Vadim Muntagirov (Principal dancers, The Royal Ballet) and British designer Jasper Conran, who created the designs for the Foundation’s recent co-production with The Royal Ballet of Ashton‘s Les Rendezvous.
The Frederick Ashton Foundation exists to enrich the legacy of Frederick Ashton (1904-1988) and his ballets, and is a Registered Charity in England no. 114343.
