This Earth Month, Ladbroke Hall invites you to join DIRT Charity and LOADS Collection for an intimate evening to reconnect with the Earth through the senses. We have drifted from the soil that sustains us. This evening offers a rare chance to touch, see, hear, and smell the living world around us. Immerse yourself in a journey where regenerative agriculture, textiles, and creativity meet.
The night celebrates biodynamic textiles, one of the most holistic forms of farming. Biodynamic agriculture nurtures soil, biodiversity, and the balance between ecosystems, farming, and human wellbeing. Until now, no framework existed for textiles. DIRT Charity, founded by model and Earth activist Arizona Muse, is creating the world’s first biodynamic textile standards. In collaboration with Demeter, the 100-year-old internationally recognised certification body, they aim to transform textile production from the ground up.
LOADS Collection, led by artist-activist Claudy Jongstra and her son Jesk, brings this vision to life. LOADS is the first textile brand worldwide to certify its fibres and dye processes biodynamically with Demeter. Using plant-based dyes, biodynamic wool and cotton, and scalable craftsmanship, each textile carries the story of the land and the care in every fibre.
The evening features the world premiere of an artistic short film representing DIRT’s Oxford literature review on regenerative textiles. Hear from farmers, touch biodynamic textiles, and experience a curated sensory atmosphere, complete with live music from Ladbroke Hall’s artistic network.
Curated by DIRT and LOADS, this is a night to celebrate soil, fibre, craft, and the living connection between humans and the Earth.
