Sounds of Us UK is coming to Ladbroke Hall – a groundbreaking immersive live performance weaving together British and African stories through an exquisite fusion of music, culture, art and sensory exploration.
In collaboration with Journey Through The Senses and supported by the PRS Foundation Composer’s Fund, Sounds of Us UK invites you to engage with music in a responsive way. As you listen to the ethereal sounds of African percussion, Western classical instruments and meditative vocals, you’ll have the opportunity to translate what you feel into visual art. Using pastels and canvas provided at the peformance, you’ll paint your emotional responses in real time, creating a personal and collective artwork that captures the essence of the performance.
Join Helen Epega and her ensemble as they guide you through this powerful sensory experience. Set against the stunning backdrop of our Sunbeam Theatre, this is a celebration of storytelling, culture, and connection, brought to life through sound and art.
