About Jorge Vera
A virtuoso Chilean pianist, composer, and arranger, Jorge Vera began his professional career at just 14, performing at Santiago de Chile’s prestigious Hotel Carrera. He quickly became one of the country’s leading session musicians, appearing on television and collaborating with renowned artists such as Miguel Bosé, Luis Jara, and David Bisbal. As the official pianist of the Viña del Mar Festival, he also recorded with top Chilean jazz musicians, including Christian Gálvez, Carlos Figueroa, Lamonart, Martina Lecaros, and Andrés Pérez. After moving to Spain, Vera broadened his musical horizons, working with some of the world’s most respected musicians, including Billy Cobham, Jeff Berlin, Horacio “El Negro” Hernández, Damien Schmitt, Patáx, Dennis Chambers, Ara Malikian, Tony Succar, Christian Gálvez, Alain Pérez, and Bob Sands. His artistry and technical brilliance have earned him a place among the world’s leading jazz pianists.
