Today he will play mostly original compositions with strong presence of Latin American rhythms, jazz and beyond.
Bio:
Virtuoso Chilean jazz piano player, composer and arranger, Jorge Vera, started his professional career very early. With only 14 years he started playing his first concerts at the Hotel Carrera in Santiago de Chile. He swiftly became one of the top secessionists in his country and participated in TV shows playing with artists like Miguel Bosé, Luis Jara or David Bisbal. He also was the official piano player of the renowned Viña del Mar Festival, while recording with top local jazz artists like Christian Gálvez, Carlos Figueroa, Lamonart, Martina Lecaros or Andrés Pérez among others.
After migrating to Spain he seeked to enhance his musical influences and started playing with top artists including Billy Cobham, Jeff Berlin, Horacio El Negro Hernández, Dammien Schmitt, Patáx, Dennis Chambers, Ara Malikian, Tony Succar, Christian Gálvez, Alain Pérez and Bob Sanz. Jorge Vera positions himself with this work in the place he deserves: the forefront pianists on a global level.
