Join us for an unforgettable evening at Ladbroke Hall with internationally acclaimed pianist, singer, and songwriter Jany McPherson.

Originally from Cuba, Jany McPherson built a brilliant career performing with some of the most prestigious names in Latin music, including Omara Portuondo & the Buena Vista Social Club, Alain Pérez, and Tata Güines. After receiving the esteemed Adolfo Guzmán Award, she relocated to France, where her talents quickly caught the attention of producer Yves Chamberland (Nina Simone, Michel Petrucciani).

Her debut French album featured legendary jazz musicians such as Didier Lockwood, Andy Narell, and Michel Alibo, and received widespread acclaim, including a nomination for Cubadisco Internacional—Latin music’s equivalent of MIDEM. Her follow-up, Blues Side Live, continued this momentum with further accolades and praise from iconic figures such as Chucho Valdés.

In recent years, Jany has developed a close and long-lasting collaboration with guitar legend John McLaughlin. Their partnership was recently celebrated with the release of a live album and DVD of their concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival, launched just three months ago to critical acclaim.

Jany’s two latest albums, Solo piano! and A long way, showcase her distinctive artistry and emotional depth—blending the sensual energy of Latin American rhythms with the improvisational soul of jazz. These works will take center stage during her concert at Ladbroke Hall.

Known for her electrifying stage presence, Jany has performed alongside a remarkable roster of musicians, including Mino Cinelu, Orlando “Maraca” Valle, Thierry Fanfant, and Dominique Viccaro. Expect a captivating performance that transcends borders and genres—delivered by a truly world-class artist.
