Manchester-born and London-based since 2010, Jamie is a standout jazz artist and Guildhall School of Music & Drama faculty member. A graduate of the school’s prestigious Jazz programme, he’s gone on to perform at world-class venues including the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Barbican, Ronnie Scott’s, Minton’s (Harlem), and Glastonbury Festival.
A sought-after touring musician, Jamie has been a core member of Will Young’s band since 2015 and has toured Europe with Judi Jackson. Career highlights include a private headline performance with Kylie Minogue (2022), headlining WOMAD with The Brand New Heavies, and a Vevo Live Session in Berlin with Olly Murs.
In 2020, he released What’s New on Silent Wish Records, collaborating with acclaimed jazz artists Ian Shaw and Iain Ballamy.
