Following her last sold-out performance, Chanda Rule returns to Ladbroke Hall with her signature blend of American work songs, blues, gospel, jazz standards, and original compositions- a sound that is both soulful and deeply rooted in storytelling.
Born in Chicago during the city’s Disco-Funk era, Chanda has been weaving melodies and bending words since childhood. Her expressive, flexible voice has taken her across genres and stages- from her acclaimed album Sapphire Dreams with legendary pianist Kirk Lightsey, to Feeling Good: A Tribute to Nina Simone alongside saxophonist Donny McCaslin.
She has performed at gospel festivals and workshops with the Golden Gospel Singers, appeared with the Outreach Orchestra, and toured internationally with Zimbabwe’s celebrated vocal group Nobuntu. Her artistry also extends to digital performance and folkloric dance collaborations, always grounded in her deep love of music and connection.
Praised for her distinctive style, heartfelt delivery, and beautiful musicianship, Chanda Rule continues to captivate audiences around the world—one soul-stirring song at a time.
