Experience an unforgettable evening with Baptiste Herbin, one of the most innovative and influential saxophonists on the international jazz scene.
Renowned for his extraordinary technical command and stylistic versatility, Herbin seamlessly blends bebop, swing, and contemporary influences into a sound that is both deeply rooted and boldly modern. Expect an electrifying repertoire featuring original compositions alongside inspired interpretations of beloved jazz standards — a vibrant musical journey from Paris to New York, right here at Ladbroke Hall.
Herbin first gained major recognition with his debut album Brother Stoon, earning a nomination for the Victoires du Jazzin 2013. He later received the prestigious Prix Django Reinhardt and was named Musician of the Year in 2019 by the Jazz Academy, cementing his status among today’s leading jazz artists.
With more than fifty recordings to his name, Herbin has collaborated with an impressive roster of acclaimed musicians, including Aldo Romano, Roy Hargrove, Billy Hart, Mark Turner, and Eric Harland. In 2014, he toured with the legendary Charles Aznavour.
