Angel Demirev is a leading Bulgarian guitarist known for his distinctive style and deep musical roots. The concert will feature vocal virtuoso from Sofia, Aleksandra Borisova.

Born into a renowned musical family in Stara Zagora, Demirev began playing guitar at the age of six, following the legacy of his grandfather Stefan Dingilov and his father Demir Dingilov—both pioneers of the guitar tradition in Southern Bulgaria. Trained in classical guitar, he has since forged a powerful and highly personal sound that moves freely between fusion and rock, Bulgarian folk and Gypsy music, enriched with influences from Azeri and Indian Carnatic traditions.

A multiple award winner and sought-after collaborator, Angel Demirev is known for his expressive playing, rhythmic drive, and fearless improvisation. He has led and performed with numerous acclaimed projects, including Angel Demirev Fusion Trio, Angel Demirev Acoustic Trio, Trio A.S.K., Cinga Manga Funk, No-Mad Spirits (Switzerland), Theodosii Spassov Quintet, Jazzta Prasta Trio, and the RomaNeno Project.

This concert promises an energetic and genre-crossing musical journey, bringing together virtuosity, tradition, and contemporary expression in a powerful live experience.
