Their debut album, Nada para o Carnaval (Nothing Stops the Carnival), released on Ubuntu Music, beautifully combines jazz with Brazilian rhythms and African influences to create a captivating sound. Citing Afro-Brazilian legend Milton Nascimento as a primary influence, their dynamic and uplifting live performances express a desire to always “find something to celebrate and appreciate in this world.”

Between them, the members have performed with artists including Kyle Eastwood, Omar, Heidi Vogel, Emilia Mårtensson, Antonio Forcione, Adriano Adewale, and more — truly a world-class ensemble!

The band has graced numerous festivals and events, sharing their positive and vibrant sound with audiences worldwide. In the UK, Almanaque has delighted crowds at top venues including Ronnie Scott’s, Ninety One, and the Metronome Jazz Bar in Chester. Their musical journey has also taken them across Europe, leaving their mark on iconic venues such as Cantine de l’Arena and Vapore in Italy, as well as Pyke’s in Ibiza. Through their energetic performances and unwavering passion, Almanaque continue to inspire and uplift music lovers everywhere.
