THEVXLLEY

The Narcissist Sunbeam Theatre

Patron only event

Daniel Del Valle presents his debut show, The Narcissist, at Ladbroke Hall — an immersive merge of fashion, exhibition, performance, object, and memory.

The collection offers a window into his garden, THEVXLLEY, where Del Valle’s work is grown, nurtured, and transformed into autobiographical vessels. Each piece forms part of a wider narrative rooted in personal memory and material exploration.

His practice is shaped by generations of makers. Growing up in Pilas, a small village in Seville, Del Valle learned embroidery from his grandmother, ceramics from his mother, and baking from his father. By merging these heritage crafts with his own experiments in floristry and sculpture, he transforms tradition into living, wearable artworks.

Every piece in The Narcissist is uniquely crafted. Highlights range from a ceramic T-shirt constructed from thousands of Victorian pipes found along the River Thames, to a living, breathing bodice that is watered daily — an extension of Del Valle’s obsession with orchids. Further hero pieces include intricate wax embellishments added to his mother’s wedding dress, and a sculptural garment made from bread, developed in collaboration with his father.

“Thevxlley is the name of my garden, and everything that grows inside it is a reflection of me. When people come to see the collection, I don’t want them to expect to learn anything deep. I just want them to feel like they’re walking through a garden, surrounded by life.”
Daniel Del Valle

Rooted in the intimacy of everyday life, The Narcissist reflects Del Valle’s deep consideration of material, process, and craft, revealing fashion as a living archive of memory, care, and growth.
